Private Health Rebates

At Alchemy Acupuncture Studio, we aim to make your experience smooth and accessible, including when it comes to health insurance claims.

What Treatments Are Covered?

• Body Acupuncture, including electroacupuncture and cupping, is covered by Australian private health insurance.

• The level of rebate you receive depends on your individual policy and extras coverage. We recommend checking with your health fund to confirm your entitlements.

Easy On-the-Spot Claims

We have a HICAPS terminal available, so you can claim your rebate immediately after your appointment. If you're unable to claim on the day, we’ll provide a receipt with all the necessary details to submit your claim manually at a later time.

Cosmetic Acupuncture

Cosmetic acupuncture is not covered under private health insurance.  However, the body acupuncture portion of the treatment is eligible for a rebate.

To claim this component, the treatment will need to be split into two EFTPOS transactions:

• One for the body acupuncture (claimable)

• One for the cosmetic component (non-claimable)

 

We’ll guide you through the process at your appointment.

Please note that microneedling and LED light therapy are not covered by Australian private health insurance.
